Geocache Description:

You'll need to stop at three locations to pick up some information along the roadside before you can determine the final location of this cache.  It's an easy exercise--nothing more than simple arithmetic involved!

The cache is not at the given coordinates, but you need to go there to gather information to help you determine where the actual hide is located.  At the given location, you'll find a prominently displayed number on a tall man-made object. To reach the next stage (2), multiply that two-digit number by 8, then subtract 2.  Subtract that number from the last three digits of the given latitude in order to determine the last three digits of the next latitude you need.  The longitude you need is determined by first taking the two-digit number, multiplying it by 5 and subtracting 1.  The result represents the last three digits of the longitude you need.  Replace the fourth digit of the given longitude by dividing the two-digit number by 11 and squaring the result.

At stage 2 you'll find another two-digit number on another manmade tall object.  Replace Stage 2's last three digits of latitude with the number before you times 11, plus 3.  The last three digits of longitude you need are the product of the two-digit number at this location and 12.

At stage 3 look for yet another two-digit number on a tall manmade object.  Multiply that number by 3, subtract 6, then subtract that number from the last three digits of your current latitude.  You now have the latitude of the final location.  To get the final location's last three digits of longitude,   double the last three digits of your current location, subtract the sum of the three two-digit numbers you found,  then subtract the sum of the two numbers you found at stage 3, and, finally, subtract one of the two numbers you found at the very start of your journey. Now you have the longitude for the final. Happy hunting!
