The Natchez Trace Parkway is a 444-mile drive through exceptional scenery and 10,000 years of North American history. Used by American Indians, "Kaintucks," settlers, and future presidents, the Old Trace played an important role in American history. Today, visitors can enjoy not only a scenic drive but also hiking, biking, horseback riding, and camping. For more information about the Natchez Trace Parkway visit:

I created this cache to commemorate my 1,000th find. I've enjoyed finding all kinds of caches and I hope to start putting out some interesting and challenging caches in the future. This one took some work to figure out, but I'm proud to have the Jackson Area's first Wherigo cache. I hope you enjoy.
This Wherigo is located along the City of Ridgeland Multi-Use Trail. It's a total of a one mile walk (out and back) and you will experience 10 stops along the way that are to scale with the 444 mile Natchez Trace. Parking is available at the Choctaw Agency pull-off from the Natchez Trace. The trail is paved and accessible year-round, but is closed after dark, so no night caching, please. The physical cache location is not on the Natchez Trace Parkway property, but is within walking distance of the trail.
Have fun, and be sure to leave me some feedback in your cache log. I've tested the cartridge, but not on every device, so tell me if you have any problems with it on your device.
