Geocache Description:

Bells.

Bells are joyous things, the beautiful music of a carillon like Westminster Abbey, the lilting tinkle of a horse’s harness, the jarring clamor of a school bell saying time for recess, or the happy “ding, dong” of your own doorbell announcing the arrival of a package, or a friend….or a cache.

You will walk about a tenth of a mile on a well used, partially paved dog walking trail, then leave the trail for about 200 feet. Even in snow this should be pretty easy, just be careful of slick spots when there's snow on the ground.

When you arrive at the posted coordinates you are looking for a small camo tape wrapped lock-lock. Once you find it, I think you’ll know what to do to find stage 2. Depending on Mother Nature, the snow guns and screaming children on the tubing hill, and the traffic on I-80, finding stage 2 may be easier with a caching buddy. The less of those things involved the less effort it will take to find on your own.

One of my all-time favorite caches was Westminister. Despite how much everyone liked the cache, the owner, Seawind, was finally worn out by its maintenance demands and archived it. It was such a cool concept I couldn’t let it die. It’s a perfect addition to the Utah GeoTour (of quality caches and places).

A PLEA TO BE KIND TO THE CACHE: To keep this cache from meeting the same fate as Westminster, I need your help. PLEASE, PLEASE, PLEASE only open the part of the final container with the logbook and swag. The more often the other part of the container is opened the more often it’s exposed to destructive elements. Please help this cache to last for the cachers that follow you.

Congratulations to alexanddaisy on FTF!!
