Geocache Description:

“The Canberra Centenary Trail is a 145 kilometre self-guided, non-motorised loop trail for walkers and touring cyclists that showcases Canberra and takes users on a journey between urban and rural environments past iconic sites and hidden treasures."


Users are able to join or leave the trail in many locations.” See attached link.

Section 1 takes walkers (20.6 km / 7 hours) and cyclists (16.4 km / 1.5 hours) through the Parliamentary Triangle and past Canberra's national institutions including:
Parliament House
Museum of Australian Democracy
National Gallery
Australia National Portrait Gallery
High Court of Australia
War Memorials of Anzac Parade
Australian War Memorial

Enjoy the following nature reserves that form part of Canberra Nature Park along this section:
Mount Ainslie
Mount Majura.
