1949Sidewinder: I was in the area performing cache maintenance and found the area to be open again, but the cache and its' host tree were washed away in the flood. I no longer live in the area so I am not going to replace it.

Geocache Description:

 

The cache is not at the posted coordinates.

 

You will have to solve the puzzle to determine the coordinates of the cache.

 

 

 

It is located within the Oroville Wildlife Area near the Pacific Heights Road entrance, southwest of Oroville. Oroville Wildlife Area is a day use only area. Rattlesnakes and all manner of annoying vegetation are known to occur in the area; however, there is no poison oak near the cache site. Park near the waypoint provided and take the short stroll on the paved road to find the cache. Take your favorite reaching stick with you.
