St Thomas the Apostle

The church is a large imposing building on the corner of Elson Road and Elson Lane. It was built in 1846 under the direction of architect H.J. Underwood and designed in a 13th century style with a chancel, nave and west turret; in the December of that year it was assigned a portion of Alverstoke parish.
