This was once the site of a very large water wheel, which provided power via flat rods to the nearby Bagtor Mines (The wooden support posts for which are now long since rotted and no trace remains).
Today, the original house remains and is clearly kept in weatherproof condition, although it seems some time since anyone lived there. One corner boasts an old fashioned telephone insulator, indicating it once had at least that modern convenience, although now no wires run to the site and it seems unlikely to be connected to any services. The garden and buildings are fenced off and exploration should not be undertaken as it would be trespass. The cache is located away from the house and there is no need to cross any fences to reach it.
