Geocache Description:

The Crumble Crew are going on a day out to the seaside. We're travelling from London to Brighton via Lewes. Our aim is to meet as many geocachers as possible, so we can chat, swap stories, travel bugs and geocoins and have lots of fun. So it would be great if you could come along and meet us.

SideTracked Series:

We have Motorway Mayhem. We have A-Road Anarchy (cos there aren’t many motorways in Wales!). But what about public transport users? SideTracked caches are intended to provide quick cache-and-dashes at train stations. More Information can be found at the SideTracked Website.

Brighton Station:

Brighton station is the principal railway station in the city of Brighton and Hove, East Sussex, on the south coast of the United Kingdom. The station was built by the London & Brighton Railway in 1840, initially connecting Brighton to Shoreham-by-Sea, westwards along the coast, and shortly afterwards connecting it to London Bridge to the north, and to the county town of Lewes to the east. In 1846, the railway became the London Brighton and South Coast Railway following mergers with other railways with lines between Portsmouth and Hastings. Brighton is one of the busiest station in the UK outside London and it is managed by Southern. More Information on the history of the station can be found here.

We're the Crumble Crew, a group of enthusiastic Surrey geocachers, made up of Dr Evil. Mang. mr matto, terrapintim and woolleybear. We have known each other individually for a while but recently we decided to form a group, so we could enjoy shared geocaching adventures and encourage geocaching in the local area and beyond. We have already enjoyed several exciting experiences including the successful introduction to geocaching event in the local area. Why the name? The is an official SideTracked event and it will take place outside the front of Brighton Station at the listed coordinates.
