FOOD & DRINK: Please bring a dish to pass (appetizers, desserts, munchies, etc.) or beverages (no alcohol). Post what you’re bringing and I’ll keep a running list below.
EVENT ACTIVITIES:
RAFFLES: Pottarius has graciously offered to run the raffles this year. Two raffles will be available…”pick-a-prize” style, where you get to enter your raffle tickets for prizes you hope to win, and a 50/50 raffle. If you’d like to donate one or more items for the pick-a-prize raffle, let Pottarius know.
ICE BREAKER: Pick up your game card at the sign in table
TRAVEL BUG RACE: Captain Jon will be announcing the results of last year's Travel Bug Race and hand out awards.
We are also planning another TB race for this year. If you would like to participate, bring a new trackable to send along.
TRACKABLE SWAP: Bring in your trackables to trade and/or pick up ones to move.
GIFT EXCHANGE: New this year! If you would like to participate in the gift exchange bring a wrapped, unmarked, unisex gift that is approximately $10-$15. It can be geocaching related or not. We'll pick numbers and each person who brought a gift will have a chance to pick a random one from the pile. This is not mandatory but it is sure to be fun!
KIDS ACTIVITIES: Ninja wendy is putting together an activity for the young cachers of the group.
There will also be a Kids Gift Exchange! If your child is interested have them pick out a $10-$15 gift to exchange!
GROUP PHOTO: Will be taken after the raffle drawings. See posted picture for last year's photo.
EVENT CACHES: JAKSolantern has volunteered to place a few Event Caches in the area. Get the info at the Welcome Table.
VOLUNTEERS: There are several opportunities to volunteer to help with this event. Post a note in your log entry or email me if you’d like to help out by filling in the TBD slots below.
