The local Cotswold Caching group will be holding a meet ‘n’ greet event every couple of months throughout 2015. It will be held on the second Sunday of the month and each event will take place at a different location within the Cotswolds. (this one is being held a week later due to Remembrance Sunday)
For this event we are heading north of the region and welcome you to The Plough Inn at Ford.
Sitting in the hamlet of Ford, this popular 16th Century Inn is renowned for its excellent menu, serving fresh local produce and fine Donnington Ales.
The area holds everything for appreciators of the countryside as well as a rich and diverse cultural and sporting heritage. Jackdaws Castle racehorse trainers is directly opposite, and The Plough is popular with many famous jockeys and trainers. If you like walking, there are some fine walks, with a stunning view of the gallops.
This pub can be very busy on Sundays. If you are intending to eat during the course of the event, please could you note this on your attend log and we will let them know a numbers a couple of days before. If you intend to arrive early to eat, or stay after the event to, then can you please contact them yourselves to let them know.
Children are welcome. There is a child play area in the beer garden.
Dogs are welcome on leads in the beer garden.
The pub has a car park to the rear. There is also parking in front of the pub across the road in front of the gallops.
