For many years, Andrew Sullivan would host a contest on his blog “ The Dish” that would post a picture from a reader of the View out of their Window. The contest was then to see who could guess the exact window in the world it was taken from. This would involve looking for the smallest clues in the photo to guess the place in the world it was taken. Then to use google maps to start trying to trianglate exactly what building and what floor the photo was taken from. It was a fun exercise and I thought it would make a fun cache series.
I will be posting a series of caches that contain a photo I have taken somewhere in the world. (These will not all be photos from windows) To get the coords for the cache you will need to enter the coords you think the picture was taken from into Certitude. Enter the coords you think the photo was taken from into certitude and if you are within 30 feet the bonus info will give you the cache location.
