Welcome to a Matinee Showing of the 2015 Geocaching International Film Festival!
Saturday
November 7, 2015
11:00 AM - 1:30 PM
Your Host: Old River Runner
Come join me at the posted coordinates (i.e., at Western Sizzlin’ in Russellville) for a meal and your chance to see the 16 finalist films from the 2015 Geocaching International Film Festival. If you missed the premier event (GC643TK) held on Thursday night (November 5), this is another opportunity to see these great films! In the past you could only see these films if you went to the event held every year in Seattle at the Block Party. This year, the Film Festival was rained out. But hey, it's Seattle, and that's bound to happen more often than not! So on the weekend of November 5-8 only, geocachers all over the world will host geocaching events at which the films from the 2015 Geocaching International Film Festival will be the first public viewing of these films ever.
The films have been described as being family friendly.
The event will be held in the meeting room located at the back left side of the restaurant. As you enter the restaurant, just ask the employee at the checkout counter and they will be happy to point you in the right direction.
Enjoy lunch and the viewing with your fellow cachers and put in a vote for your favorite film afterwards. Please note that each attendee will be responsible for his or her own food and drink. The manager of the restaurant has agreed that persons attending this event will not be required to purchase anything. However, please do not bring your own food or drink into the restaurant!
Please post your "Will Attend" note by Noon on Thursday, November 5th, so that I can let the restaurant know how many to expect and be ready for us with a sufficient number of waiters and table settings!
Event starts at 11:00 AM with the films beginning at approximately 12:00 PM (Noon).
The films will run approximately one hour.
The event is over at 1:30 PM.
