This cache helps you along the coast, brass rubbing as you go.
Possibly best to do this on a dry day. Ideally not windy!
The fifth brass rubbing depicted Lauriston Castle, but it isn't there. Neither is the metal stand. If you go to the waypoint, try to do a rubbing of the holes. Could be cool. When I first came along here in April 2015, I managed to get a rubbing, so you can see what it would have looked like.
http://www.edinburgh.gov.uk/info/20179/park_activities_and_events/98/brass_rubbings_trail
has a page that gives a little information, but it appears to be a little out of date - although it has recently sadly become a little more accurate.
One or two of the cache hides are not in particularly salubrious locations (but not awful!), but the primary idea of this series is to bring you to the brass rubbing.
If you are wanting to bring something to swap in these containers, crayons could be ideal! This cache starts off with extra crayons - in fact the exact crayons I did my rubbings with!
