Bear right after finding the last cache and follow the waymarked path, going straight across the forest ride and through a meadow to the tarmac road between two Dartmoor longhouses, South and North Heathercombe. Here take the route straight ahead, signposted to Moorgate 2¼m keeping to the left of the thatched Heathercombe North. Go through the gate straight ahead towards a second meadow (not the orchard) and then through another gate after which the waymarked path veers to the right.
Bonus point for spotting the Heathercombe Jungle King along the way!
