This is the starting point of a walk around the countryside to the south and east of Bethersden. On three preparatory trial walks I measured the distance on my GPS to be a shade over eight miles, and each time it took me about four and a half hours
The walk is mostly on footpaths but there are two stretches on country lanes. Some drivers do fly along these lanes; do take care. Also the route crosses the A28 in two places (this is one of them) so again please take care at those points.
Some cache owners delight in the trickier hides. this cache series is NOT supposed to be difficult. If you can't find any of the caches within a few minutes then it has probably been muggled.
The simplicity of the finds is reflected in the D1.5 rating for all of the caches; the T3 rating of each cache assumes they are done as a series. Each cache description is deliberately very basic; listing only the route from the previous cache
On the trial runs whilst preparing this walk I took my small dog with me. I feel I should say that this walk isn't quite as dog-friendly as other geo-walks I've been on. There are livestock on several fields, and there are quite a few stiles over which you will have to carry your pup (if jumping isn't his strong suit)
Because of these stiles I would seriously not recommend this series to be done at night, or with buggies or bikes
You should have no problem finding this cache
