Geocache Description:

Number 385 in a series of caches where a red telephone box is in close proximity to a post box.
The only rules are that they have to be able to be photographed together, be not more than 100' apart and the phone boxes have to be red.

THIS CACHE IS NOT ON OR IN THE PHONE BOX

Stealth will be required here. The traditional red telephone kiosk no longer houses a telephone but is instead home to a community defibrillator. For this reason the cache IS NOT ON OR IN THE PHONE BOX. We suggest taking a moment to read the notice board with your arm behind your back ;-)

Tostock is a village that has rather varied news stories to its name.
In 1964 the village was voted Suffolk's Best Kept Village and in 1977 they were winners of Mid Suffolk's Best Kept Village. More recently, in 2014, the Chair of the Parish Council was found guilty of dangerous driving after a dispute over walking horses on the village green!

The village is a lovely one to visit (just leave the horse at home) with some great views from the public footpaths.
The Woodland Trust manage Armstrong's Wood, a small linear wood with a wide variety of broadleaf trees and a small pond. This lies to the West of the village, between the Church and the River Black Bourn. On the Northern boundaries lies Cooper's Copse, another Woodland Trust site, just across the railway line.

The Fine Pair series was originally started by wizardsmum.

If anybody would like to place 'A Fine Pair' of their own please do, I would just ask that you let mattd2k at geocachingafinepair@gmail.com know first so he can keep track of the numbers and locations to avoid duplication. He also keeps a public Bookmark List of this series so once your cache is published please contact him via his profile page to have yours added.
