When you retrieve the cache, be aware of the surrounding houses and please check up and down the street for pedestrians. This cache is only accessible from public land. Do not enter the private property.
There is a simple and recommended way for retrieving the cache. There is a more difficult method but it is not recommended.
Getting the Cache The Simple Way
The posted coordinates take you to a tree next to the footpath.
- Remember to try out the paperless log.
- The best caching experience is obtained by following the next step precisely.
- There is a number attached to the tree above head height. Stand facing it and about arms length away. If you can't find it you might need a hint.
- Disable mobile data on your device
- Connect your Wifi device to the appropriate Wifi network. Don't worry if your phone says that the Internet is not available
- Expose the cache by going to the following website http://hait/ (or try http://hait.home.arpa, if having trouble)
If you do need to type the URL into your browser you might find you need the full thing including the http:// and/or the trailing / depending on which device you are using.
- Trouble loading the page?Make sure you have disabled mobile data. Make sure you disable it before connecting to the Wifi. The exact method to do this varies by device. One simple way is to go into Flight mode and then turn Wifi on. This solves the most frequent problem where some devices panic when they find out that this wireless network can't get to the Internet, so they refuse to use it even if it looks connected. Disabling mobile data gives it no choice but to use the Wifi.

If you've followed all the steps correctly and its all working correctly, the cache should now be exposed. This cache includes a new style of paperless log. No pen required, but you do still need your pen to sign the log in the cache as per Geocaching requirements.
Please note that due to circumstances beyond our control this access point may not be available at all times. Things such as power cuts, radio interference (eg cordless telephones, microwaves) and access point firmware bugs may affect the availability of the access point. We do monitor it and will attempt to make it as available as possible. You can see the status of the components required for this cache here. Fortunately, you can use the alternate method to retrieve the cache if the Wifi network is not available.
