Geocache Description:

This Geoart is part of a nationwide project. THE USA 50 STATE STAR GEOART celebrates every state in the USA. Our Goal is to have a "50 STATE STAR" in each state of the USA. Look for the States that proudly display the "STAR"!

This 50 State Star celebrates the State of Vermont!!

The Vermont Star is composed of 50 Star caches. All of the caches are puzzles. Each cache page will present VT trivia - with true or false questions.

Vermont is the largest producer of maple syrup in the U.S., producing over 500,000 gallons a year
True - N 44° 24.525, W 72° 11.457
False - N 44° 24.524, W 72° 11.458

The caches in this series are mostly 2/2 winter friendly preform tube containers. but a few require a short scramble up or down a bank. see terrain ratings!

The trial is mostly east west, hint will tell you north or south side of trail.
The actual caches are hidden along an 8 mile section of the newly renovated LVRT multi use recreation trail. The VAST trails administrator has granted permission to place these caches, but requested persons be respectful of private property and follow trail ethic as listed at trail sign.

Permitted uses: include hiking, bicycling, skiing, snowshoeing, dog sleding, horseback riding and snowmobiling. Users yield to snowmobiles, dogsleds and horseback riders. This snowmobile trail might be busy in winter, so be careful with your geo-dogs. Hand warmers are recommended in the winter, and bug spray the rest of the year.
Please post your adventures on the 01 or 50 star cache pages, I will be monitoring these two closely, so be sure to list any required maintenance on these. Parking suggestions will be listed on the 01 cache page.
This one will be difficult with deep snow
