Come for a campfire, s’mores and geocaching ghost stories. We're going to make some up some ghost stories before hand and we suggest that you do the same - won't that be fun?! We certainly know a few cachers who can tell a good story! Cowboy songs by Montana cowboy, Bruce Anfinson (check him out here https://youtu.be/fahBNPkgw9E) in the lawn behind the Caretaker’s Cabin. Please dress for the weather. Bring your camp chair. Join the geocaching fun in Helena, Montana as we spend the weekend caching the very best of the west! We will be giving away lots of great prizes over the weekend including $500 cash.
From October 2 to 4 you'll be able to have a great time getting to know other cachers and finding tricky event caches. The Helena Tourism Alliance is incorporating this weekend with the Helena History Fair - we invite all our cachers to check out their activities at Pioneer Park right next to Reeder's Alley - our event central location. We'll be offering our geocachers only the opportunity to ride the Last Chance Trolley to learn about the area's history, a chuck wagon lunch of BBQ Pork sandwiches with all the fixings, and lots of old-fashioned fun.
Registration is required to participate in the Wild West Cache Bash. Reply to one of the three event caches as “Will Attend” and tell us how many will be in your party. Registration due Wednesday, September 30. Register to receive your commemorative Wild West Cache Bash geocoin and Saturday lunch ticket.
