Cmentarz w Markach powstał wraz z parafią 20.10.1917 r., ale starania o niego trwały od 1899. Wcześniej zmarłych chowano na cmentarzu przykościelnym w Grodzisku i na warszawskim Bródnie. Teren cmentarza powstał na ziemi darowanej przez mieszkańców. Teren cmentarza ogrodzony był początkowo drutem kolczastym, potem drewnianym parkanem, a w latach 30. XX wieku murowanym ogrodzeniem z betonowych cegieł, którego część zachowała się w północnej części cmentarza. Po roku 2000 wykonano obecne ogrodzenie wraz z charakterystyczną bramą od strony południowej. Od 1945 cmentarz jest cmentarzem komunalnym.

The cemetery in Marki was founded along with the parish 20.10.1917, but efforts to found it lasted from 1899. Previously, the dead were buried in the churchyard in Grodzisk and on the Warsaw Bródno cemetery. The cemetery was built on land donated by the residents. The cemetery was fenced with barbed wire at first, then a wooden fence, and in the 30s of the twentieth century brick fence with concrete bricks, part of which is preserved in the northern part of the cemetery. After 2000, they made the current fence with a characteristic gate on the south side. Since 1945 the cemetery is the municipal cemetery.
