Są takie miejsca, które są wieloznaczne. Tak jak wieloznaczne jest słowo zlewnia. Zlewnia, czyli obszar, z którego wody spływają do jednego wspólnego odbiornika. Czyli możemy mówić o zlewni związanej z rzeką, jak i ze ściekami. W kontekście rzeki Wisły trudno jest nadal myśleć inaczej niż o ściekach, choć zlewnia rzeki Wisły powoli się oczyszcza.
Znajdujemy się w regionie wodnym Środkowej Wisły obejmującym zlewnię rzeki Wisły od ujścia Sanny do miejscowości Korabniki, czyli mówiąc po ludzku praktycznie od Zawichostu do Torunia.
Wybudowanie wielkiej oczyszczalni nie spowodowało, że zniknęły z Warszawy zlewnie ścieków - na Annopolu w tej samej dzielnicy wciąż działa zlewnia ścieków. Jednak spragnionym tej swoistej aromaterapii można polecić też wyprawy wzdłuż cieków wodnych, szczególnie po deszczu.
