A Scout CITO Cache In Trash Out Event

Requirement 8c of the Geocaching merit badge is "Explain what Cache In Trash Out (CITO) means, and describe how you have practiced CITO at public geocaches or at a CITO event. Then, either create CITO containers to leave at public caches, or host a CITO event for your unit or for the public."

When: August 29th, from 9:00AM to 10:30AM

Scouts and Cachers come out to do some trash pickup and help local scouts complete their Geocaching Merit Badge.  We'll also take the opertunity to make and distribute CITO tubes (soda tubes with trash bags inside) to ecourage others to always Be Prepared to CITO!

Note to scouts:  This is a public event, not just for scouts.  Class A is not required but Class B to show your Scout Spirit is encouraged.
