This cache is placed in the Riserva Naturale Bosco della Ficuzza.
Leave the car at the gate forest and take the path of Rocca Ramosa. The path takes your through forests of oaks and oaks, which grow thick and impressive, forming a wet undergrowth. Small cave of tectonic origin that houses a source. Characteristics of these area are “ferruginous water sources”or small canyons carved by the percolation of the water: a moist and full of ferns envirnonment called "water ammucciata" that means hidden water. In this place is easy to see animal tracks or to spot wild ungulates such as deers. Near the cache you can see the entrance to the small canyon. With caution you can go inside and find the water on the bottom.
Questa cache si trova nella Riserva Naturale Bosco della Ficuzza.
Lasciata la macchina al cancello forestale, si prende il sentiero di Rocca Ramosa. Il percorso si snoda attraverso boschi di roverelle e lecci, che qui crescono fitti ed imponenti, formando un sottobosco umido e ricco di essenze vegetali. Piccolo antro di origine tettonica che ospita una sorgente. Caratteristiche del luogo sono proprio queste sorgenti di acqua “ferruginosa” o piccoli canyon scavati dal percolamento delle acque: un ambiente umido e ricco di felci denominato “acqua ammucciata” che significa acqua nascosta. In questo posto è facile osservare le tracce degli animali o avvistare ungulati selvatici come il daino. Vicino alla cache puoi vedere l'entrata al piccolo canyon: con prudenza puoi entrare e sul fondo troverai dell'acqua.
