Geocache Description:

A quick cache diagonally across the road from the National Gallery of Victoria, close to The Walker Fountain. Although not a true "up the tree" hide, you will need to stretch for this one.

The NGV Collection contains over 68,000 works of art and approximately 87% of its items are available for viewing.General entry is free, mostly it is open 10am–5pm. You will have to pay for special exhibitions.

This concrete fountain was donated to the people of Victoria in 1981 by former Melbourne mayor Ron Walker and his wife, Barbara. It comprises 46 underwater lights and 144 individual streams of water.

Like many of the art works across the road, you will be on display as you retrieve this cache so watch out for muggles.
