What is the 2015 Wicomico Geocache Dash?

The 2015 Wicomico Geocache Dash is a geocache trail that is hosted by the Wicomico County Convention and Visitor's Association and the Wicomico County Tourism Department that takes cachers to locations across Wicomico County. The Dash is designed to introduce people to some of Wicomico County's "Hidden Treasures", and can easily be completed in one day.

The 2015 Wicomico Geocache Dash works on a passport system and the first 100 cachers who find ?? of the ?? caches may earn a trackable GeoCoin!
NOTE: Details about the number of caches available and number of caches required to earn the geocoin are still being worked on at this time. Come to the Kickoff to the learn the details and rules.

What is the 2015 Wicomico Geocache Dash Kickoff?

Come out in the morning to meet other cachers from near and far and get ready for a wonderful day of geocaching on the beautiful Eastern Shore!
  • 8AM-4PM: Pickup 2015 Wicomico Geocache Dash passports and cache info
  • 8AM-10AM: Event techie will be on hand to load most gpsrs. (Bring your gpsr's USB cable)
What is the 2015 Wicomico Geocache Celebration Event?

The 2015 Wicomico Geocache Dash Celebration Event is a free, family-friendly, pet-friendly party celebrating the 2015 Wicomico Geocache Dash trail……participation in the 2015 Wicomico Geocache Dash is not required! Come on out and meet other cachers from near and far and share some of your Wicomico Geocache Dash adventure stories! Celebration Event activities are from Noon - 4PM.

Celebration Event Features:
  • Survival Products & Adenaline High will be at the launch site with kayaks that can be used free-of-charge to navigate to the WGD 2014 Schumaker Pond/Park cache!
    NOTE: ONLY Adult vests will be available! You may bring your own child vests.
  • Cookout Food available for purchase.
  • Playground! Disc Golf! Corn Hole! Kan Jam! Bear Pong! Ladder Toss!
  • Custom Trackable 2015 Wicomico Geocache Dash Geocoin Pick-Up For
    Those Cachers That Return Their Completed Passports
    NOTE: Starting August 23, 2015 Geocoins may be picked up at Wicomico Tourist Information Center located at 8480 Ocean Hwy, Delmar, MD
