Bon Voyage Event Cache

This cache has been archived.

Backwards Charlie from Austin: All the attendees have had time to log this event so it is time to archive it so it will not appear on any more queries. Thanks for all that came.

P.S. You may have heard of a shooting on a train going to Paris from Amsterdam that happened yesterday. A Brit and an American were both shot by a possible terrorist before two US Marines that happened to be on the train could tackle him. I was on a train going to Amsterdam and learned about it when I got to Amsterdam and saw the headlines in a British newspaper. Travel by train in Europe is very convenient, but the price you pay is less security.

How Geocaching Works

Please note Use of geocaching.com services is subject to the terms and conditions in our disclaimer.

Geocache Description:

Meet at the Central Market Cafe to wish Backwards Charlie from Austin a safe trip to Europe.  If you have any small trackables (no teddy bears or other things that will not fit in a pocket) that want to go to Europe then bring them.  This is a breakfast time event but you are not required to buy any food or drink to participate.  Event starts at 0800 (8 AM) and goes to 0900 (9 AM).

If the weather cooperates we will meet in the outdoor seating area of the Central Market Cafe, else the indoor seating area.  You are not required to buy any food or drink to attend this event.  Event starts at 0800 (8 AM) and goes to 0900 (9 AM).

Backwards Charlie from Austin (BCfA) will be leaving shortly afterwards for a geocaching vacation stretching from Iceland to Russia with several stops inbetween (one of them being the 4th International Earthcache Event in Germany).  If you have any small trackables that want to be dropped off in Europe (or want a free ride to Europe and back) please bring them.

There are wheelchair ramps, but how easy they are to navigate I do not know so I am giving this a Terrain rating of 1.5.
