Zminja
Otok Krk je jako zanimljivo odredište za planinarenje. Od Vrbnika se prema jugu razilaze dvije planinske kose zatvarajući prostrano Bašćansko polje. Jugozapadno od polja nalazi se najviši vrh otoka, Obzova.
Osim Obzove, na otoku je još mnogo zanimljivih mjesta za planinarenje. Nakon što ste se popeli na Obzovu, bila bi velika šteta da ne odete i na Zminju. Do tamo vam treba nekih dvadeset minuta hoda, ali isplati se otići. Dolazak na vrh biti će honoriran predivnim pogledom. Povratak je moguć jedino istim putem do vrha Obzove. Osim ako ne želite produžiti do Baške... :) Staza prolazi pored tora u kojem je mala borova šumica. Tamo ćete zasigurno vidjeti ovce (koje u čudu gledaju u vas).
Napomena:
Izbjegavajte planinarenje po otoku po jakom suncu. Idite na izlet po oblačnom vremenu. Ili rano ujutro. I ponesite si dosta vode. Gore nema pitke vode.

The island of Krk is a very interesting destination for hiking. From Vrbnik to the south two mountain chains are separating, and closing the large Baška field. Southwest of the field is the highest peak on the island, Obzova.
Besides Obzova, there are many interesting places for hiking on the island. Once you have climbed to Obzova, it would be a pity not to go and to Zminja. You need to walk cca. 20 minutes to get there, but it´s worth it. Prize for the arrival on the top is a beautiful view. Return is possible only in the same way to the top of Obzova. Unless you want to go to Baška ... :) The trail passes near the fold where is a small pine forest. There you will surely see the sheep (which will stare at you).
Note:
Avoid hiking on the island in bright sunlight. Go on a trip on a cloudy day. Or early in the morning. And bring plenty of water. There is no drinking water up there.
