Siklósi vár
A Siklósi vár, mint a város szimbóluma, egyik legmegőrzöttebb és leghitelesebb történelmi emlékmű Magyarországon. A várat elősször 1294-ben emlitik egy iratban. Elősször gótikus stilusban épült. 1482-ben királyi várrá hirdették ki. A 16.században reneszánsz szellemben újitották fel. 1543-ban Szulejmán szultán elfoglalta és a következő 150 évben nagy oszmán katonai központ volt. Azután privát tulajdonba került és semmit nem változtatnak rajta a II. világháború végéig. A vár a háborúban nagyon megsérült és 1955-ig nem volt tulajdonosa. Ekkor Baranya megye felújitotta és azóta az állam tulajdona.
The Siklós Castle, which has become the symbol of the city, is one of the most intact and most consequent historical monuments in Hungary. The castle was first mentioned in a certificate in 1294. It was first developed in Gothic style. In 1482 the castle became a royal estate. In 16th century it was rebuilt in the spirit of Renaissance. Siklós Castle was occupied by Sultan Suleiman in 1543 and used for 150 years as a major Ottoman military base. Following the recapture of Siklós, it was a private property until WWII. The Castle was heavily damaged during the war, and it had no master until 1955. It was then renovated by The Council of Baranya County. Today, the castle is owned by the state.
Siklóski dvorac, koji je postao simbol grada, jedan je od najočuvanijih i najdosljednijih povijesnih spomenika u Mađarskoj. Dvorac je prvi put spomenut u certifikatu 1294. godine. Prvo je konstruiran u gotičkom stilu. Godine 1482. dvorac je proglašen kraljevskim posjedom. U 16. stoljeću rekonstruiran je u duhu renesanse. Osmanski sultan Sulejman Veličanstveni okupirao je dvorac 1543., te je u narednih 150 godina korišten kao velika osmanska vojna baza. Nakon reinkorporacije Siklósa postaje privatan posjed, što se ne mijenja sve do Drugog svjetskog rata. Dvorac je teško stradao u ratu, te nije imao vlasnika do 1955. godine. Tada ga je renovirala Baranjska županija. Danas je dvorac državno vlasništvo.
