Saturday, August 15 6:00pm, - 11:00pm

GeoVenture BBQ & Potluck....................6:00pm – 7:30pm
Potluck Cleanup.........................7:30pm – 8:15pm
GeoVenture Challenge Awards.....8:30pm – 8:45pm
X-Games   9:00pm....11:00pm

The MBGA will be selling BBQ Burgers for $3 and Hot Dogs for $2 each.

For those in attendance earlier in the day, food tickets will be sold so that we can better estimate the amount of food we need. We have a volunteer who will run into the city to pick up the food. We are aiming to cut down on left-over food and require your help with this bit of pre-planning.

We will also be providing coffee, tea, and juice to drink, free of charge. On site water is safe to drink. Soft drinks will be available only if someone adds them to the potluck.

We encourage everyone to bring your own reusable plates, cutlery, travel mugs, etc. to help reduce garbage and its effects on the environment. However, we will have supplies for those who forget.

Please state how many adults/children in your team will be attending, and what side dish you will be bringing to contribute to the potluck.

Potluck: What do we need? Drinks, salads, side dishes and desserts. Your choice! Log into the forums and go to the POTLUCK TRACKER to indicate what you are bringing so that others may fill in the gaps.

To quote Dragonfreys circa 2007, "A good potluck rule of thumb is to bring enough in the dish to feed your family if that is all they ate. Many people attempt to feed the whole group and you end up with way too much food. The fun thing about potlucks is you never really know what is going to be there, but usually works out to be quite a variety. Also be prepared to list ingredients as required for those who suffer food allergies"

VOLUNTEERS!

We would really appreciate volunteers stepping up for a turn at the BBQ, dishwashing sink or other areas of need. The organising committee is few in numbers and the work is aplenty. Please indicate in your log what area you will help us out with.
