I discovered this location while searching for a way to get to Having a Ball on the Rim Tr. and Alamo Peak View. The Geoching.com map has FR 639 on the wrong side of 36BFV.
From this cache the Rim Trail can be accessed by crossing the road and hiking down an old forest road that has been closed. The container is a small jar hidden near FR 639. BYOP.
