To our North we saw two Ospreys followed by two Hornets plus not one, or two or even three but four Kestrels, moving beautifully over the water.
Glancing to our West we spotted a lovely Lapwing plus two Albacores and two Larks.
The sight was serene and therefore we drew an imaginary line to see them cross it in stile. The bigger, faster ones naturally came home first. All it needed was some means of creating a level playing field.
