Geocache Description:

Emmanuel Church, South Croydon

Emmanuel Church, South Croydon is the nearest church to where I live and as it doesn't yet have a church micro allocated to it I have placed one.

Built: 1899
Architect: T Roger Smith
Benefactors: Alice and Mary Watney

The church consists of the traditional nave, aisles, chancel and west narthex. The choir vestry and entrance porch to the south of the chancel built in 1956 were demolished in 2000 to make way for a new extension. The church halls are in a separate complex to the west of the church.

Go to the co-ordinates given and begin by locating the red sign giving details of the church.
A = The most frequently occurring digit in the church office telephone number.
B = How many times Sunday Worship takes place each Sunday plus one.
C = The number of arched windows (divided by 6) running horizontally just under the roof line of the north elevation of the church.
D = The number of words (divided by 3) in the inscription above the main doors.
E = The number of occurrences of the letter H in the inscription above the main doors.

The cache can be found at N51 21.D(A-E)A W000 05.B(B-C)(A+C)
