Sentado a bordo de um barco moliceiro e percorrer os canais da Ria de Aveiro faz-nos sentir a essência de Aveiro. Uma cidade de muitos encantos, onde o antigo e o moderno se misturam numa mescla que lembra um arco-íris.
É o que se espera de uma viagem, sensações inesperadas…. a calma das águas dos canais interiores, os reflexos de luz, o deslumbrante colorido dos casarios, dos palheiros e dos barcos moliceiros em contraste com a imponência elegante da arquitetura do século XIX em tons pastel.
O barco moliceiro é um pedaço da história de Aveiro e das suas gentes e tradições. Outrora usado na apanha do moliço, é agora usado como transporte de inúmeros turistas que visitam a cidade e a ficam a conhecer numa perspetiva diferente, a partir dos canais.
Esta cache wherigo pretende levar-vos a fazer essa viagem, pelo Canal de São Roque, junto ao Bairro da Beira-Mar, pelo Canal Central e suas fachadas “Art Noveau”, pelo Canal das Pirâmides de acesso às marinhas e pelo Canal do Cojo onde estão as zonas mais modernas.
Pretende-se dar a conhecer um pequeno pedaço da história ribeirinha da cidade e as suas personagens mais típicas como o homem do Gabão, a Salineira ou o Mordomo. No final do jogo serão apresentadas as coordenadas da cache, pois esta não está nas coordenadas indicadas.
Informação Importante: Para fazer o cruzeiro é necessário pagar um bilhete junto das empresas de turismo que se encontram junto às pontes de Aveiro.

Sitting aboard a moliceiro boat and go through the channels of the Ria de Aveiro makes us feel the essence of Aveiro. A city of many charms, where the ancient and the modern blend in a mixture that resembles a rainbow.
It's what you expect from a trip, unexpected sensations .... calm waters of the inland canals, the light reflections, the color of stunning houses, the barns and moliceiros in contrast with the elegant grandeur of nineteenth-century architecture in pastel colors.
The moliceiro boat is a piece of history of Aveiro, of its people and traditions. Once used in harvesting the seaweed, it is now used as transport of tourists who visit the city and get to know a different perspective from the canals.
This cache Wherigo wants to take you to make this trip through Canal de São Roque, near the Beira-Mar Quarter, the Central Canal and their facades "Art Noveau", through the Channel of the Pyramides, for marine access and through the Canal do Cojo where are the most modern areas.
It is intended, to get to know a small piece of the riverside of the city's history and its most typical characters as the man of Gabon, Salineira or Mordomo. At the end of the game the coordinates of the cache will be displayed, as this is not at the given coordinates.
