Join us for a summer in the mountains! NoVAGO is returning to the beautiful Blue Ridge Environmental Center in Summer 2015. Trails, lakes, mountains, food, friends, and goats. What else does your summer need?

Pot Luck Lunch

Enjoy a delicious potluck lunch provided by various cachers in the area. When you post your "Will Attend" log, please post the food/drink/condiment item you plan to bring. If you don't know right away, please post it as the event gets closer so we can keep track of who is bringing what and try to fill in holes. All food is welcome - no dish, dessert or drink will get turned away! We'll keep a running list of food here.

Additional Information

  • BREC requests that visitors utilize Leave No Trace and Low Impact ethics to keep the impact on their land (trails, fields, etc.) to a minimum. Individuals and groups are asked to transport supplies by carrying them to the pavilion on foot, approximately a 0.1 walk from parking. If you have a special need of vehicle transportation of supplies, please contact NoVAGO.
  • All pets must remain on leash at all times. Owners should clean up after pets.
  • Bicycles are not permitted on Blue Ridge Center trails. Fishing, swimming and boating are not permitted in any streams or ponds. Hikers should stay on established hiking trails.
  • Official start time is 1 pm, but feel free to come earlier and cache! There will be caches available during the event.
  • If you don’t want to sit at one of the picnic tables, you’re welcome to bring lawn chairs, blankets, etc.
  • Please keep this event on your Watch List, and check back often for any updates.
