Geocache Description:

Snaefell is the highest mountain on the Isle of Man at 2,036 feet or 621 metres.

The Snaefell Mountain Railway opened in 1895 and is the only electric mountain railway in the British Isles. Most of the trams operating today are still the originals. In 1950, a radio station was built on the summit of Snaefell and this is still in operation for civil aviation.

This multi will take you around the main points of interest on the summit. Don't forget you can log the moving virtual cache Ye Olde Survey Monuments by taking note of the number on the trig point (stage 5).

The cache can be found at N54 KH C(B-A) F W004 AJ DIE. The values of these letters can be found by visiting the below stages:

Snaefell Summit Café (N 54° 15.729 W 004° 27.771)

The number of windows on the café building (excluding doors and windows above doors) = AB

Radio Station (N 54° 15.763 W 004° 27.785)

Numbers below SLV FW = CD E

What can you see? (N 54° 15.792 W 004° 27.701)
