You may notice that one of the caches from the hunt has been made permanent! So if you didn't get a chance to find that one on Canada Day, now is your chance!

6th Annual Geocaching Hunt: Canada Day

On Canada Day in Selkirk there will be a Geocaching Hunt! Our theme this year is Selkirk “Sel”ebrities, and the locations where the caches are hidden pertain to notable people of Selkirk, MB. You will get a booklet of mini biographies and the location coordinates. Earn the most points and you could win some great prizes! The event promises to be a great success again this year. We hope to see you there!

Location start- The Waterfront

12:00 pm to 4:00 pm

12:00pm- Training starts

12:30pm- Geocaching Hunt details are given and booklets are handed out

1:00pm- Geocaching Hunt starts

4:00pm- Hunt ends, regroup for prizes

 

Other Canada Day Festivities include

Waterfront:

Entertainment and Kids Zone- 4:00 pm

Free Ride- 7:30pm to 10:30 pm

Fireworks- 10:30

*Food Vendors and Crafters on site

Selkirk Park:

Free Entry to park and Pool

Sand sculpture lessons 11am-12:30

Sand Sculpture competition 12:30-2pm

Horse and Carriage Rides:

Drop off/pick up points: Waterfront, Marine Museum, and Selkirk Park Pool

5km Run/Walk

Begins at 9:00am at the Waterfront looping around the Selkirk Parke Dyke
