Che Guevara,

poster child of student revolutionaries, was a Marxist revolutionary, doctor, writer and military leader.

His ideology was fuelled by two long motorcycle journeys he made while at the university of Buenos Aires. The first was a 2,800 mile solo trip through the rural provinces of northern Argentina on a bicycle on which he installed a small engine. This was followed by a nine-month, 5,000 mile continental motorcycle trek through most of South America.

Che also had a life long love of poetry, although this doesn't appear to have stopped him meting out 'revolutionary justice' when he deemed it appropriate.

This cache celebrates Che's contributing the 'go to' item of 1970's revolutionary student attire - the black beret with the Marxist star. Way to go, Che...
