Es wäre schön, wenn ihr euch auch daran beteiligt, sofern ihr einen netten Brunnen kennt. Der Cachename sollte allerdings immer mit "Brunnencache - (+Name des Ortes/Brunnen)" lauten um ihn der Serie eindeutig zuordnen zu können. ... und hier unser Beitrag: 1 - N48°01.804 E007°34.793. Der Justitiabrunnen am Münsterberg vor dem Amstgericht, (1991) von der Freiburger Bildhauerin Julia Dorwarth. Justitia ist die Personifikation der Gerechtigkeit. Seit der Antike wird Justitia meist als Jungfrau dargestellt, die in der linken Hand eine Waage hält (und in der Rechten das Richtschwert). Seit Ende des 15. Jahrhunderts wird die Justitia mit einer Augenbinde dargestellt : sie wird als Symbol für die Unparteilichkeit, also das Richten ohne Ansehen der Person gesehen, und wird zum stehenden Attribut der Justitia (Quelle : Wikipedia).

2 – N48°01.861 E007°34.708. Der Radbrunnen am Münsterberg, in der Radbrunnenallee. Seit 1198 gibt es hier einen Trinkwasserbrunnen. Im 13. Jahrhundert wurde ein Turm gebaut, die bis 1793 hielt. Im Turm waren Stadthaus, Gericht, Folterkammer und Gefängnis. In 1902 verlor das Brunnen seine Rolle, da eine zentrale Wasserversorgung eingeführt wurde. Der Turm wurde Wohngebäude, dann und bis heute Ausstellungs- und Konzertraum.

FR : 1 - N48°01.804 E007°34.793. Fontaine de la justice. Fait partie d'une série initiée par un autre cacheur, sur le thème des fontaines. Cette fontaine, installée devant le tribunal de Breisach, a été réalisée par la sculptrice fribourgeoise Julia Dorwarth an 1990-1991. L'allégorie de la Justice est le plus souvent représentée tenant, dans la main gauche, une balance sur laquelle elle soupèse les forces de soutien et d'opposition dans une affaire (principe de contradiction juridique). L'épée qu'elle tient parfois est celle de Némésis (la vengeance) et symbolise l'aspect répressif de la justice, l'application des peines. Le bandeau qui couvre parfois les yeux de Justice est un symbole d'impartialité. Il indique que la justice est (ou devrait être) rendue objectivement, sans crainte ni faveur, indépendamment de l'identité, de la puissance ou de la faiblesse des accusés : la justice comme l'impartialité est aveugle. 2 – N48°01.861 E007°34.708. Le moulin à eau de Vieux-Brisach, sur la Radbrunnenallee. Un moulin à eau pour puiser de l'eau potable pour la ville haute existe ici depuis 1198. Une tour a été ajoutée au 13e siècle. Cette tour abrita l'hôtel de ville, le tribunal, une chambre de torture et une prison. En 1902 seulement, le bâtiment perdit son rôle originel de puits. La tour devint alors bâtiment d'habitation, puis lieu d'expositions et salle de concert, jusqu'à aujourd'hui.

Justitia (Lady Justice) is an allegorical personification of the moral force in judicial systems. The scales of justice represent truth and lie. Since Roman times, Justitia has frequently been depicted carrying scales and a sword, and wearing a blindfold. Lady Justice is most often depicted with a set of scales typically suspended from her left hand, upon which she measures the strengths of a case's support and opposition. She is also often seen carrying a double-edged sword in her right hand, symbolizing the power of Reason and Justice, which may be wielded either for or against any party. Since the 15th century, Lady Justice has often been depicted wearing a blindfold. The blindfold represents objectivity, in that justice is or should be meted out objectively, without fear or favour, regardless of money, wealth, power, or identity ; blind justice and impartiality (based on Wikipedia).

2 – N48°01.861 E007°34.708. The treadle wheel well on Radbrunnenallee, was built from 1198 onwards. A tower was added, which hosted the town hall, court, torture chamber and prison. In 1902 this building was no longer a well but became finaly an exhibition center, that you can visit today.
