Geocache Description:

I thought it fitting to place a cache here for all to come and remember their furry friends of past and present. In doing so, I hope to read some great logs containing posted comments about your pets, stories, and pictures. Above all, lets hear the names of your beloved animals from times past and present. Have fun with the cache idea and enjoy the area few know about in El Paso County.

"If a man aspires towards a righteous life, his first act of abstinence is from injury to animals." Albert Einstein

Well, I will go first about my dog growing up, Skeeter. Skeeter was a small black and white mix. Cocker Spaniel and something else. What I remember most about Skeeter is his need to compete. You see, Sketter was my dog and I myself was a pretty competitive young boy. It carried over to Skeeter I guess because we would actually play one-on-one football in the backyard. It seemed as if Skeeter knew the rules on how to get it to the end zone. And, yes we did play tackle. A great memory for me.

I hope this set the stage for others to share there pet stories. Thanks for coming to my cache!
