Der Elefantenbach, eigentlich Stöckentobelbach, ist ein Zufluss zum Hornbach in der Stadt Zürich. Er wird im Volksmund Elefantenbach genannt und es hat auch eine Elefantenskulptur in der Mitte des Baches. Das Areal ist ein Zürcher Naherholungsgebiet. Wenn du flussaufwärts gehst, wirst du am grossen, grauen Elefanten vorbeikommen.
The elephant creek, real name Stöckentobelbach, is a feeder to the Hornbach in the city of Zurich. It is named in colloquial speech "Elefantenbach" ("elephant creek") and has an elephant as an fountain sculpture in it. The area is a local recreation area. If you go upstream, you will encounter the big gray elephant in the creek.
