The Fur Tor Brook is another of those delightful Dartmoor streams and this one is a tributary of the River Tavy. The cache is placed not far from where the Fur Tor Brook joins the Tavy and both streams can be crossed nearby. This cache is located on the best route to Fur Tor, which is from Baggator.
IMPORTANT NOTE: This cache is located in the Merrivale Military Range where live firing occurs. You must check out the Firing Notices before entering the range. DO NOT ENTER THE RANGE WHEN THE RED FLAGS ARE FLYING. Never pick up any objects, they may be unexploded devices.
