All movies have an end... and so it was we had to roll the credits on Spaceballs: The Geocache. But fear not dear friends, Internet rumors are flying around which suggest that Mel Brooks is working on a sequel to his cult classic Spaceballs! He'd call it, Spaceballs II the Search for More Money.
In the hopes these rumors are true, we give to you, Spaceballs II: The Search for More Cache! We envision the plot to go something like this... Lone Star and Princess Vespa hop into the Eagle 5 to fly off for their honeymoon, when out of nowhere, they come under fire from Spaceballs II, an even bigger ship that President Skroob had stashed on the Planet of the Apes! Lone Star does his best to pilot his Eagle 5 to a safe landing, but gets stuck in a tree in the 21st Century. President Skroob along with Dark Helmet and a small search party head down to Pennypack Park to find Lone Star, Princess Vespa, and recover the Eagle 5. The plot just goes up from there!
These days we can all use a little laugh. We hope the rumors are true, and that this cache brings a smile to your face!
This Series:
This cache is part of the SPACE 2081: A Geocaching Odyssey challenge.
This challenge contains one cache of each difficulty and terrain combination, plus a final cache which can be found only after finding all 81 caches that are part of the series. Each of those 81 caches will contain a code, which you will use as part of the puzzle to solve the FINAL CACHE.
All the members of the space team are actual cachers who are remaining anonymous for the moment. You can find more info on the series, as well as a complete list of released caches HERE. Please do not post hints or spoilers in your logs. Also, each cache must be signed by any individual cachers going for the final.
