The past two years have been wetter than the past ten. When we first arrived in town in 2013 there was scarcely a green thing anywhere. The ubiquitous wind filled the air with thick brown dust, tinting the sky like an old photgraph. This cache is in memory of those times, when Sunday afternoons were spent chasing dust devils across the backroads, trying to get the GeoGeo in place so it would be in the middle of the vortex as it passed over, much to the delight of the kids in the back seat.
However, as fun as those days were, I pray they remain in memory. Water is life. May the rain come plentifully in its season.
