This cache used to be part of the Royal Deesiders Geotour. The Geotour has now finished but the cache can still be logged as part of the Deeside Way series
This section of the Deeside Way, from Kincardine O'Neil to Aboyne takes the high road, affording good views to the south in particular. The Way enters Dess Wood and drops to a bridge. Before the final bend above the bridge a narrow path to the right leads to the viewpoint looking towards the waterfall.
