Andy Warhol was born on this date in 1928 and last year, when we arrived for our flashmob, we found a party already underway!! We had so much fun celebrating his birthday with the regulars, and they loved that we were there and they invited us back. Feel free to dress warhol style or recreate one of his pieces of art. The best costume will be awarded a prize.
Meet at his marker around 7pm. At around 7:30 we will pose for a picture and award some prizes. We will mingle until around 8. There will be people there earlier, and people there later, but the log will definitely be there from 7pm until 8pm, so please, if you want to sign it, please be there during that hour!!
There is a webcam overlooking his marker. please refer to the 2 links posted below (waymarking.com) for more information and, if you can attend the event, don't forget that you can log the waymarks as well!! Also, there is a letterbox with a really cool stamp hidden in the cemetery, but it might require some research, so be prepared and do your homework so you can earn that smilie as well.

Please be respectful when parking, and if you are of able body, reserve the closer parking for those that aren't as mobile. There maybe some uphill walking involved. The entrance to the cemetery is on Connor Road, not route 88!!
