Moncton is an exciting place to be in the summer but with Maritime Mega Moncton happening in our backyard, this summer will be extra special for geocachers. Of course, once you have finished your geocaching for the day, the first thing that all visitors to our region will want is to enjoy everyone’s favourite crustacean (as will the locals!). But, with your lobster lying before you, do you really know where to find all those tasty hidden titbits once you’ve finished with the tail and the claws? Yes, there is always the roe but what about those delectable little morsels hiding in the ribs? There is just so much of the lobster that gets left behind by the uninitiated.
This event will demonstrate “how to eat a lobster” so that you truly savour every delicious morsel hiding beneath that shell. A veritable expert in the art of eating a lobster will be there to guide those who need a little help while the rest can feel free to add their helpful hints.
For those who don’t want to be left out but aren’t up to tackling the lobster there will be a prime rib alternative. Both the prime rib and lobster will be accompanied by potato salad, coleslaw, roll and dessert.
The price for the dinner is $25 per person; however, please feel free to drop by and sign the log book even if you do not intend to partake in the dinner. There will also be an adult beverage service available at reasonable prices for those over nineteen.
Please make sure to indicate your “will attend” and to note whether you will be having the lobster or the prime rib. We want to make sure that we have enough for everyone so, unfortunately, those who do not signal their plan to attend may not be served.
