Esta cache propõe levar-vos até um dos Picos mais emblemáticos do Porto Santo - o Pico do Concelho. Situando-se na zona Este da Ilha do Porto Santo, este possui uma altitude de 324 metros. O percurso até à cache é relativamente acessível, apresentando uma mistura de colinas suaves com algumas zonas em que a dificuldade do terreno aumenta consideravelmente. Uma vez no topo do Pico do Concelho, o acesso até à cache faz-se em zona de planalto sempre em segurança. O percurso de ida e volta tem uma distância cerca de 5 Km's e um desnível de 250 metros. É aconselhado levar calçado apropiado, merenda e escolher um dia com boas condições climatéricas para encontrar esta cache em segurança e aproveitar a vista!
The purpose of this cache is to take you to one of the most emblematic peaks of Porto Santo - Pico do Concelho. It stands in the eastern part of the Porto Santo island , with an altitude of 324 meters. The path to the cache is relatively accesible, with a mixture of rolling hills with some areas where the terrain difficulty increases considerably. Once at the top of Pico do Concelho, the access to the cache is made in a plateau region which is always safe. The route round trip (Trailhead - Cache - Trailhead) has a distance about 5 km's and a vertical gradient of about 250 meters. It is advised to take apropiate footwear, a snack and choose a day with good weather conditions to find this cache safely and to enjoy the view!
