Geocache Description:

Coombe Halt is part of the Looe Valley Line and was officially opened in 1901, following the closure of the Moorswater station. It is only one of two stations to use the suffix Halt, the other being St Keyne Wishing Well Halt on the same line. The stations other claim to fame is that it is the second least used station in Britain, with only 42 passengers in 2013/14!

The cache is not on the station, but on the footpath from the station to Moorswater.

We suggest parking at Moorswater and walking along the path to Coombe Halt. Alternatively you could perhaps park briefly at Coombe, go through the gate to the station and then take the path on the right, under the bridge.

Or maybe consider using the station and getting its stats up!!

Congratulations to andy=rach on FTF!
