Geocache Description:

Cache located on Knattaborough Tor, on the Belstone ridge.

Knattaborough Tor is a small outcrop which is unamed on OS maps and occurs on the Belstone ridge, on the dip between the more substantial Higher and Oke tors. The cache is a small container with a 35mm film canister inside containing the log.

Parking is available at Belstone, and the cache can be found after walking up from the moor gate past the Watchet Hill flagpole.

It isn't located on any military range, although if the military are firing and the Red Flags are displayed this is as far as you can go along the ridge, the clearly visible range poles 50m south of the tor indicate the start of the range.

This cache complies with the DNPA agreement for geocaching - http://www.dartmoor-npa.gov.uk/visiting/vi-enjoyingdartmoor/geocaching
