Feel free to bring your coin collections, trade items, pathtags, signature items or anything you else you can think of to this event that you think someone else might be interested in swapping you for. Not a trader? Not a problem! The evening social event is the perfect place to swap a few caching stories. So, come along and join the fun.
Note: Geocachers will be responsible for the safety of their own collections.

This won't be a high stakes poker tourney, so don't be afraid to step up for an evening of fun and mingling with other cachers.

Signing Up for Tournament
To enter the tournament, each player needs to sign-up. The first 36 players to send an email via geocaching.com to dani_carriere will be accepted. Any emails outside of this method, geocaching.com messages, phone calls, and cache logs will not be accepted. Only players contacting via dani_carriere's profile page by email (again, not the message feature ... I need the date time stamp) will be accepted to keep this fair for all participants.

If more than one player from the same geocaching team wants to participate, separate emails must be sent. If only one email is sent, only the first person listed will be registered. Minimum player age is 16.
On the day of the tournament, all players must sign-in and provide their buy-in by 7:15PM on the day of the game. Latecomers will lose their seat. No players will be accepted after 7:40PM regardless if there are empty seats.
A waiting list will be created for players who are willing to fill empty seats.
At 7:20PM names from the sign-in sheet will be called and players randomly assigned to tables. After the list has been read once, it will be read once more to ensure that all who signed up get first chance to play. If, after the second round of calls, there are empty seats, then the waiting list will be called in the order they signed up. Again, after the second round of calls for players, if there are empty seats, they may be filled by latecomers from the original sign-up sheet, or by anyone willing to play.
No more than 36 players will be accepted. Game play starts at 7:45PM
How to Buy-in
Note: This is a non-cash poker tournament.
Each player must provide 2 unactivated geocoins (along with their activation code) when arriving at the tournament. These coins will be used as the prize pool for the tournament. Each player will then receive a stack of 48 poker chips in 4 different denominations ($0.05, $0.10, $0.25, $1.00) totalling $16.80 in play money.
There will be no re-buy ins in this tournament.

- 6th Place: 2 Geocoins
- 5th Place: 2 Geocoins
- 4th Place: 2 Geocoins
- 3rd Place: 20% of the remaining Geocoins
- 2nd Place: 30% of the remaining Geocoins
- 1st Place: 50% of remaining geocoins plus bragging rights
